About Yorkshire Stays
Yorkshire Stays was founded in 2015 following a life-changing event. After being made redundant, I seized the opportunity to reassess my career and lifestyle. As a result, Yorkshire Stays was born, allowing me to combine my love for travel with a more relaxed and fulfilling pace of life.
For over 10 years, Harrogate was home. During this time, our admiration for this vibrant spa town led us to offer two fantastic self-catering holiday properties: No. 19 and No. 11. Both properties serve as an ideal base for guests who want to experience Harrogate’s charm. In addition, with shops, restaurants, and bars just a short walk away, you’ll have everything you need right at your doorstep.
In 2018, we made the move to the Yorkshire Dales, drawn to the peace and beauty of rural life. Consequently, we opened Hawks Barn, a stunning barn conversion offering a unique blend of luxury and comfort in the heart of the Dales. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, Hawks Barn is the perfect retreat to unwind and reconnect with nature.
Our family-run business is managed by myself, Tilly, alongside my partner Wayne, our daughter Erin, and our energetic labradoodle, Rocket. As we continue to grow, we’re always looking for new ways to enhance our guests’ experiences. For instance, keep an eye out for our upcoming wood-fired sauna, which will be a wonderful way to relax after a day of exploring.
Furthermore, we are expanding our offerings with even more stays in Yorkshire. Soon, we’ll be introducing a camping barn in the Dales, Eagles Nest, and all-inclusive biking and walking breaks. We’re excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to share these new experiences with you!
